Pawrenting #1: Do your research

  • Research on how you will get your dog, whether adopt from animal shelter near you or purchase from trusted breeders. 
  • Research on what dog is applicable to your home
  • Research on what dog breed is applicable to your lifestyle.

  • Be familiar with cost accompanied by owning a dog. Costs such as vaccines, grooming, food/diet and other commodities they need (e.g. pet bowl, leash and toys)

  • Purchase all the needs of your dog such as, pet bowls for food and water, leash, collar, harness, toys specialized for chewing, crate for potty training.

Pawrenting #4: Train your dog consistently

  • Create a positive reinforcement when teaching your dog.
  • Let them socialize with other dogs at the early stage.  
  • Train on leaving them alone to prevent them the feeling of anxiety.

  • Choose the dog food according to the age requirement. It is essential to choose the correct food to prevent your dog in getting sick.

  • Find a veterinarian that you and your dog trust to build a better relationship

  • Relax and enjoy playing with your dog!
